Myers, the president of Making Your Event Special,
graduated from Mary Baldwin College in 2001. While attending
she was in charge of Baldwin Program Board, the organization
responsible for all social events on campus. This is where she
learned her leadership, organizational and creative skills needed
to be a dynamic Wedding and Event Planner. Her expertise and
warm personality enable her to coordinate memorable and elegant
weddings and events. Her determined attitude, along with an
amazing team, allow her to work well with vendors to ensure
that your day is perfect.
Shafonne is also a member of Association for Wedding Professionals International and a board member of the Richmond Chapter. As well as a Certified Wedding Planner through Wedding Planning Institute and a teaching instructor for them at University of Richmond.
